Home Soil 20th Title For Illingworth In Las Vegas

US squash star Julian Illingworth fittingly celebrates his 20th final on the PSA World Tour on home soil after reaching the climax of the Las Vegas Open, the PSA Challenger 10 event at Life Time Athletic in Las Vegas.
The top seed defeated fourth seed Peter Creed, the Welsh number one, 11-4, 11-3, 11-7 to record his third successive straight games win in the eighth event of the year in the new US Pro Squash Series.

He will face Australian Zac Alexander, the New York-based No3 seed who ended unseeded Pakistani Yasir Ali Butt's run - beating the 24-year-old from Lahore 11-8, 11-8, 9-11, 11-8.

Alexander is marking his 18th appearance in a PSA Tour final.

Both finalists are appearing in their first Tour finals of the year - and Illingworth will be looking to extend his unbeaten record in finals which stretches back to March 2011.
